Rev. Calvin Lee Smith

Rev. Calvin Smith passed away on Tuesday, September 24, at St. Francis Hospital downtown, surrounded by his wife and two sons. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Geneva and Waymon Smith, as well as June and Mae Hellen Griffin. 

He is survived by his wife, Alzine Smith; his two sons, Brandon and Baxter Smith of Atlanta, GA; his brothers, Eddie Smith, Michael Smith, Odell Smith, Emmanuel Griffin, Wayne Griffin, Ronald Griffin, and Reginald Griffin; his sisters, Beverly Hackett, Valerie Burnette (Stanley), and Debra Massell; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Funeral Services:  Saturday, October 5, 2024, 11:00am at Lee Road United Methodist Church with interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
