Mr. Joseph Lee "Joe Lee" Blakely

Mr. Joseph Lee "Joe Lee"  Blakely, 78, of Greenville, South Carolina, husband of Mildred Ferguson Blakely, of the home, transitioned on Friday, March 14, 2025, at McCall Hospice House. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late James and Ruthie Mae Turner Blakely.

Surviving: in addition to his wife, one daughter, Keresha Ferguson, of Greenville, SC; one son, Joseph (Natasha) Blakely, of Greenville, SC; four sisters, Judy Jenkins, of Greenville, SC; Jacqueline Williams, Jill Blakely, and Jean (Robert) Crowell, all of Washington, DC; two brothers, James Blakely, of Atlanta, GA; and Jerry Blakely, of Greenville, SC; a granddaughter, who was raised in the home, Jacoby Thompson, 5 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Friday, March 28, 2025, 1:00pm, at Mt. View Baptist Church, with interment  in Greenville Memorial Gardens, 3:00pm.
