Mrs. Geneva "Gen Gen" Brooks,64, of Greenville, South Carolina, born in Laurens, SC. she was the daughter of Ernestine Dunlap and the late John Dunlap. She passed on April 6th, 2025, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Surviving in addition to her husband Richard Brooks. four sons Kendrick Dunlap of Greenville, SC; Gary Dunlap of Greenville, SC; Jumarkus (Eternity) Dunlap of Greenville, SC; Richard Brooks of Greenville, SC: two sisters, Minister Patricia (Woodrow) Green of Greenville, SC; Barbara Dunlap of Atlanta, GA; six brothers, Wayne (Lurester) Clardy of Florence, SC; Rev. Andre (Rachel) Miller of Greenville, SC, Walter Dunlap of Greenville, SC; Curtis Dunlap of Greenville, SC; and Andre (Katrina) Dunlap of Greenville, SC; five grandgirls Alexia Lozier of Greenville, SC; Akendria Allen of Waldorf, MD; Zuri Brooks of Greenville, SC; Gaffney Dunlap of Greenville, SC and London Dunlap of Greenville, SC, one grandson, Zaire Brooks of Greenville, SC; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and family members.
