Mrs. Mamie Lee Smith Burton

Mrs. Mamie Lee Smith Burton, 81, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, widowed of the late Donnie Burton, transitioned on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late GW Smith, Jr. and Elvalina Sullivan Smith.

Surviving: Janice Burton (Steve) Anderson of Simpsonville, SC and Donna (Michael) Allen of the home; one son, Dondray Burton of Simpsonville, SC; one sister, Mary (John) Evans of Simpsonville, SC; one brother, JW (Ora Bell) Smith of Greenville, SC; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Thursday, April 24, 2025, 1:00pm at Old Shady Oak Baptist Church with interment in Old Shady Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
