Mrs. Minnie Joyce Smith

Mrs. Minnie Joyce Smith, 67, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, passed away Saturday August 31, 2024, at her residence. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Norman Beaty, and Birdie Mae Green Beaty.

Surviving: her loving husband, Kenneth Smith, of the home, one daughter, Chauncey Beaty, of Simpsonville, SC; one son, Orji (Dejernette) Beaty, of Arlington, VA; five sisters, Maxine (Raymond) Beaty, Barbara (Leon) Sullivan, Delores (Roosevelt) Brooks, all of Greenville, SC; Birdie Faulkner, of Jacksonville, NC; and Sherline Fields, of Simpsonville, SC; one brother, David(Doris) Beaty, of Mauldin, SC; three grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Saturday, September 7, 2024, 2:30pm, at Mountain View Baptist Church, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
