Ms. Vivian Yolanda "Vib" Hamilton

Ms. Vivian Yolanda “Vib” Hamilton, 49, of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, transitioned on Friday, March 28, 2025, at her residence. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of Rose Hamilton, and the late Larry Waldrop. She was raised in the home by her bonus father the late Charles Sammy Thurmond.

Surviving: in addition to her mother, one daughter, Ebone Smith, of Greenville, SC; four sisters, Veronica Thurmond, of Greenville, SC; Shadrika Rapley, and Samantha Thurmond, both of Laurens, SC; and Rosalyn Thurmond, of Piedmont, SC; two bonus sisters, Samantha Mattison, and Michella Jackson, both of Greenville, SC; one bonus brother, Larry Mattison, of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Friday, April 11, 2025, 2:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
