Myrtle Gibbs

Mrs. Myrtle “Smurf” Gibbs, 61, of 240 Pleasant ridge Avenue, passed on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at Greenville Hospital System. Born in Marion SC, she was the daughter of the late Mary McLaurin Parks and James Luther Parks.

Surviving: daughters; Natasha (Lester) Gibbs Ballard of Charlotte NC, Shanek (Larki) Robinson of Columbia SC, and Jamese Gibbs of Greenville SC. Sisters; Vernistine (Dwight) Dove of Providence RI, Shirley Canty of Bronx NY. Brothers; Ulysses (Amanda) Parks of Duncan SC, Anthony Parks OF Raleigh NC. Thirteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
