Mrs. Nannie Geneva “Sister” Chiles Rosemond, 84, of Piedmont, South Carolina, passed on Monday, April 20, 2020, at Prisma Health Greenville. She was a daughter of the late James and Nannie McCullough Chiles.
She was employed at JP Stevens-Parker Plant for 35 years, and Carolina Blouse for 25 years. She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church, where she participated as President of the Usher Board, Treasurer of the Missionary and a member of the Senior Choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Rosemond; three brothers, James Chiles, Jr., Robert Lee Chiles and Ernest Chiles; and three sisters, Catherine Dogan, Shirley Chiles and Patsy Simpson.
Left with many treasured memories are two daughters, Teresa Rosemond of Atlanta, GA, and Vanessa (Darrion) Washington of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Carolyn Dogan of Piedmont, SC, and Amelia (Thurmond) Hosey of Goldsboro, NC; three brothers, Father Richard Chiles of Depere, WI, David Chiles of Detroit, MI, and Alvin (Linda) Chiles of Mauldin, SC; three grandchildren, James Donaldson, Elliott M. Rosemond, Sr., and Anasseh Washington; three great-grandchildren, Elliott M. Rosemond-Rawls, Christopher J. Donaldson and Nyzier Rosemond; and a host of other relatives and friends.
