Mr. Nathaniel Peters, 98, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Friday, November 11, 2022, The Oaks at Chanticleer. Born in Charleston, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Moses and Rosa Ancrum Peters.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Mr. Peters was married to the late Charity Smalls Peters.
Surviving: his twin daughters, The Honorable Jennifer Peters Wilson, of Myrtle Beach, SC and Gale Peters Owens of Greenville, SC; his three sons, Ronald Wayne Peters of Brooklyn, NY, Edward Carr Peters of Portland, OR and Dr. Stephen Gregory (Angela) Peters, Ed.D., of Columbia, SC; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Memorial Service: Saturday, November 19, 2022, 4:00pm at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment private.
