Nettie Allen

Mrs. Nettie Sue Allen, 86, transitioned from this life on December 5, 2015. She was born in Greenville County to the late Mr. James Henry Moore and Mrs. Allene Young Moore Bradley and was the stepdaughter of Thomas Lewis Bradley. She was married to the late Tobie Lewis Allen.

She was a graduate of Holmes Bible College. She was formerly employed at Coach Factory, Macshore Classic and Her Majesty. She was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church #1 and Grace Temple. She was a former Youth Advisor, and Sunday School teacher for over 40 years. She also volunteered at the Greenville County Schools.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband and daughter, Brenda Allen; granddaughter, Taliban Allen; brothers, James Henry Moore and Eugene Moore; sisters, Mary Lee Massey, Lily Garfield, Mattie Lou McGee and Earlene Crouch.

Surviving are her daughter, Miriam A. Allen of Taylors, SC; son, Min. Thomas Lewis (Sandra) Allen of Piedmont, SC; sister, Lois Bradley (James) Coleman of Louisville KY; five grandchildren, Keyla, George, Aaron, Ariel and Allen; nineteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
