Nivia NaTaura Johnson was born September 14, 1980, to Priscilla (Bobby) Johnson and Willie L. Johnson, however, she was reared in the home with Ephraum Franklin.
She graduated from J. L. Mann High School and received a Bachelor’s in Business Management from USC Upstate. Directly following high school, Nivia became employed by the United States Secret Service. She remained there for 18 years until she joined the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), where she served as an Industry Operations Investigator (IOI).
She attended Zion Hill Baptist Church as a child but became a faithful attendant of Mountain View Baptist Church as an adult.
Nivia was preceded in death by her uncle Willie Calvin Williams.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are her mother, Priscilla (Bobby) Johnson, and father, Ephraum (Tomasa) Franklin, both of Greenville, SC; maternal grandmother, Emma L. Williams of Greenville, SC; paternal grandmother, Lydia Sullivan of Fountain Inn, SC; a sister, LaToya (Stanley) Sanders of Travelers Rest, SC; four brothers, Walter (LaShun) Franklin, Sr, RaShaad (Sheenka) Franklin, Javian Johnson all of Greenville, SC and Kevin (Amy) Franklin of Georgia; four aunts, Jean Wilson of Greenville, SC, Jeanette Williams of Gray Court, SC, Shenika (Pete) Williams of Piedmont, SC, and Elizabeth Jones of Greenville, SC; one uncle, Steve Johnson of Florida; three nephews,Devario Bruster, Walter Franklin, Jr, and Justice Franklin; and a host of other relatives and friends.
