Oscar Carson

Mr. Oscar Atkins, Jr. “Skip” Carson, 39, departed this life on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Vanderbilt Hospital, Nashville TN. He was born on November 4, 1976, the son of Julie Ann Carson and the late Oscar Atkins.

He was a former coach at Eastside YMCA of Taylors, SC, RBI Baseball and NYBA of Nashville, TN,. He was also affiliated with Nashville Soccer United, Ultimate Ministries Soccer and Flat Rock VOLS Youth Football.
He is survived by his mother, Julie Ann Carson and her companion William Campbell, Jr., of Greenville, SC; papa who helped raise him, James Russell Crouch of Greenville, SC; companion, Teresa McAtee of Antioch, TN; sons, Kevin McAtee of Greenville, SC, Kameron and Christopher Carson both of Antioch, TN; sister, Tonya F. Carson and her companion, Rayford Parks and Brandy D. Greenlee, both of Greenville, SC; god-brothers, Carnell and Darnell Wells of Greenville, SC; grandmother, Mrs. Georgia Carson of Greenville, SC; aunt, Ms. Shirley Carson of Greenville, SC; uncles, Mr. Willie (Evelyn) Carson, Mr. David (Bernita) Carson, Mr. Marvin Carson and Mr. Andrew (Roshell) Carson all of Greenville, SC and a host of other relatives and friends.
