Oscar Hargrave

Mr. Oscar Garfield Hargrave, 76, of 10 Pasadena Avenue, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Greenville Health System. Born in Lexington, NC, he was the son of the late Roosevelt Hargrave and Mildred Hairston Brown. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Surviving: wife, Doris Hargrave of the home; daughters, Anita (Benny) Sledge of Greenville, Sherry (Henry) Purcell of Raeford, NC; sons, Oscar Garfield Hargrave, Jr. of the home and Kerry (Brenda) Hargrave of Greenville; brother, Calvin Lee (Cassandra) Brown of Leesville, LA; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6734.

Funeral Service: Thursday, January 29, 2015, 1:00 PM at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with burial in M J Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
