Mrs. Pauline Bolden, 91, of Greenville, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017, at St. Francis Eastside Hospital. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Leme Timothy and Rose Henderson Bolden.
Mrs. Bolden was educated in the Greenville County School System. She was a domestic worker and caregiver for over forty years. She was a member of the New Forksville Baptist Church, where she was a faithful and dedicated member and served as a member of the Women’s Missionary.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John T. Bolden; two sisters, Dessie McCullough and Rosella “Bunches” Gaines; a brother, Eddie Bolden and a son-in-law, Richard K. Thompson.
Left to treasure her life are a daughter, Janice Bolden Thompson of Greenville; one grandson, Derek (Shawn) Bolden; one great-granddaughter, Antiaria Bolden; one great-grandson, Derek Owens; a special niece, Diane Gaines; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. her extended family the Daniels, Cam (the late Gary, Sr.), Gary (Catherine) Jr. and Greer, all whom she loved very much.
