Mr. Preston “Junebug” Harris, Jr., 56, of 117 W. Belvedere Road, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2016 at home. Born in Greenville, he was the son of Preston Harris, Sr., and the late Jessie Mae Abraham Harris.
Surviving, in addition to his father: wife, April Gaines Harris of the home; daughter, Tawana Watson of Easley; stepdaughters, Nicole Gaines of the home, Shante (Tony) Durham of Greenville, Chazma (Joshua) Talley of Easley; stepson, Walter “Trey” Smith of Greenville; sisters, Patrice Strickland of Greenville, Lisa (James) Perry of Simpsonville, Arita Epps of Greenville, Yolanda (Bruce) Wilson of Greenville, Zartylo (Frankie) Harris of Charlotte, NC, and La’Quinta Barnes of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Lynn (Stacey) Harris of Chicago, IL, Tayon Harris of Charlotte, NC, Shamar Barnes of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren, Mariyah Aiken, Jay’Rion Talley, and Faith Talley; and a host of other relatives and friends.
