Priscilla was born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, to parents James and Freedom Newman on December 19th 1956. She graduated from Carroll High School in Ozark, Alabama, in 1975. She met Richard Winley, her husband of forty-one years in 1976 and wed in Georgetown, South Carolina in 1977. She moved to Germany in 1978 to join her husband while he served in the Army. They moved to Kansas in 1979 and then Priscilla chose to move to Greenville, South Carolina, in 1981 where they would remain. Priscilla would go on to take several courses at Maryland University in Germany, Kansas State, and Furman University. They had two beautiful children, Kia Winley and Richard Winley, III.
Priscilla had a unique gift of helping others see and reach their full potential. She’d help through advice, goal setting, or just being a listening ear. Seeing someone else achieve his or her dreams
was one of the ultimate rewards for her.
Priscilla loved to travel and explore the world with her husband, Richard. She was up for trying any and everything except for skydiving. She instilled in her children to explore other cultures and to never settle. Priscilla gave this world many gifts including
encouragement, inspiration, and love.
