Queen Williams

February 24, 1935 — April 19, 2017

A beloved, sweet and beautiful life was called home to glory on Wednesday, April 17, 2017. Queen Anne Scott Williams was born February 24, 1935, in Anderson, South Carolina, to the late Lewis and Lillie Williford Scott. She was the oldest daughter of thirteen children. She was united in marriage to the late Jeff James Williams. and from their union four children were born. She was a member of New Hope Holiness Church, Greenville, South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff James Williams; a daughter, Donna O’Shea Williams; her parents, Lewis T. and Lillie W. Scott and two brothers, Charles Scott and Lewis Scott.

She leaves to cherish many precious memories three sons, Seth Buvon (Melitta) Williams of Germany, James Sebastian Williams of Greenville, SC, and Devon Dion Williams of Ohio; granddaughters, Emily Ann and Elaysa Beth Williams of Germany; four brothers, Herbert and C.D. Scott, both of Washington, DC, Flenzie (Reba) Scott of Conway, SC and Cornell Scott and Lawyer Scott, both Anderson, SC; five sisters, Zadie Mae (George) Scott Harris of Greenville, SC, Graffree Scott Bussey, Shelby Jean Scott, Hattie Vera Scott Mathis, and Geraldine Scott Glass, all of Maryland; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
