Regina Cephas

Mrs. Regina Dionne “Gene” Cephas, 59, of Mauldin, South Carolina, departed this life on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Prisma Health Upstate. She was a daughter of Ella Scott Sullivan and the late Fred Sullivan.

She was a graduate of Carolina High School and formerly worked at International Automotive Components Group(IAC).

Regina was a very active church member and leader. She was chairperson of Nurture, a choir member, and the past Finance Secretary, former member of the Christian League , United Methodist Women - local unit and District Officer, Church Fundraising Chairperson and former Sunday School Superintendent.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Flora Ratliff and Deborah Sullivan.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are her devoted husband, Lloyd A. Cephas of the home; one daughter, Niya Cephas of Greenville; a son, Anthony D. Cephas of Greenville; a sister, Bonita R. (Thomas) Bookhart of Columbia, SC; four brothers, Michael (Nury) Dial of Flanders, NJ, Elbert C. Sullivan and Fred D. (Jennifer) Sullivan, both of Greenville, SC, and Tino (Stephanye) Sullivan of Simpsonville, SC; a brother-in-law, William Ratliff of Simpsonville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
