Ms. Rettia “Faye” Smith Gamble, 68, of Easley, South Carolina, passed on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Anderson County, South Carolina, she was a daughter of Sarah Ellen Gaines Smith and the late David Samuel Smith.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by one daughter, Kayla Gamble of the home; one son, Andre Gamble of Easley, SC; six sisters, Brenda Heard, Margaret (Timothy) Hill, Sherry Brown (Ken) Hewin, Janet (Douglas) Hallums, and Teresa Smith, all of Easley, SC, and Darlene (Keith) Watson of Greenville, SC; two brothers, David Smith, Jr. and Douglas (Cheryl) Smith, both of Easley, SC; a close friend, Gerald Gamble; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Services: Tuesday, October 31, 2023, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
