Reverend James Talmadge Dendy

Reverend James Talmadge Dendy, 90, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, husband of the late Pauline Elizabeth Webb Dendy, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at his residence. Born in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Willie Bee and Maggie Lee Ligon Dendy.

Surviving: four daughters, Dianne Hill of Simpsonville, Juanita (Antron) Earle of Fountain Inn, Paulette (Bill) Johnson of Woodruff, and Cora (Rodger, Jr.) Burton of Simpsonville; two sisters, Bessie Sue Dendy of Greenville and Hattie Mae Booker of Kanas City, MO; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service: Monday, September 16, 2024, 11:00am, at Rock Hill Baptist Church #1, with interment private.
