Richard Bolden

Mr. Richard P. Bolden, 77, of 8 Sumner Street, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at his home. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Eugene Edward and Hattie Golden Bolden. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharonda Thomason, son, Richard P. Bolden, and brother, John Willie Bolden.

Surviving: wife, Cynthia Henry Bolden of Williamston, SC; daughters, Patricia (Bernard Johnson) Cosby of Greenville, and Donna Renee Brown of Washington, DC; sister, Hattie B. Gamble of Greenville; brothers, James (Atlas) Bolden of Ft. Washington, MD, Cephus (Carolyn) Bolden of Greenville, and Ezell Stark of Virginia; grandchildren reared in the home, Malinda Cosby of Greenville, Cynthia Cosby of Baltimore, MD, and Richard Grayton of Greenville; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service: Saturday, May 30, 2015, 4:00 PM at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
