Richard Dogan

Mr. Richard Dogan, 60, of 17 Lane Avenue, departed this life on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at NHC HealthCare, Greer.
The son of Mary Frances Dogan and the late Otis Owens, he was born March 3, 1954 in Greenville, SC.
Richard was educated in the public schools of Greenville County and was a 1972 graduate of Southside High School. He worked for most of his adult life at Sheds. After the closing of Sheds, he worked at Bausch and Lomb in shipping and receiving.
He was married to the former Lois Anita Cleveland for 20 years and to that union his only two children were born, Rev. Sean (Satreva) Dogan and Mrs. Averie (Frank) Peterson. He loved his only two grandchildren, Ramiah Dogan and Mekhi Peterson. He also leaves to cherish his memories, a brother, Robert Dogan and a sister, Jolly (Sam) Golden. One brother, Bobby L. Dogan, preceded him in death.
The funeral services for Richard B. Dogan will be July 23rd at 1:00 pm at Long Branch Baptist Church. Interment at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
