Mr. Ricky Dewayne Evans, 56, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at Prisma Health Upstate. He was the son of the late Fletcher and Shirley Gambrell Evans.
Ricky was a graduate of Southside High School and attended Greenville Technical College. He worked for Dean Foods.
He was a member of Old Pilgrim Baptist Church.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Russell Evans.
Surviving: his wife, Erika L. Simmons Evans of Greenville; two daughters, Miyema Lee and Alyssa Evans, both of Greenville; one son, Brennen Evans of Greenville; one sister, Dorothea (Richard) Henry of Piedmont; his grandfather, Charlie Gambrell of Greenville; an aunt, Eunice Gambrell of Charlotte, NC; an uncle, Charles (Martha) Gambrell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
