Robbie Banks

Mrs. Robbie Diyanne Spurgeon Banks, 55, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away at Glorified Nursing Home on Saturday, August 13, 2016. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late James and Willie Murriel Sims Spurgeon.

Robbie was a graduate of Allen University in Columbia, South Carolina, and a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She was a faithful member of the Enoree Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Anthony Spurgeon and sisters, Sandra Spurgeon Fant and Francis Spurgeon.

Left to cherish many fond memories are her husband, Archie Tyrone Banks of the home; sisters, Mary A. (Charles) Johnson of Greenville, Shirley J. (Roy) Wilson and Betty Sue (Anthony) Clark, both of Taylors; brothers, Willie J. (Annie Maude) Spurgeon of Greenville, Alton B. (Dodi) Spurgeon of Taylors, Roy M. (Edith) Spurgeon of Mauldin, Curtis L. Spurgeon of Atlanta, GA, Thomas E. (Betty) Spurgeon of Columbia, Gregory E. (Sonya) Spurgeon of Greer and Charles E. (Gail) Spurgeon of Mauldin and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
