Mr. Robert David “Dede” Moore, 89, passed on Wednesday, January 12, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Will and Ethel Bowling Moore.
“Dede” attended Sterling High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the VFW Post #6734.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Anita Young, Felicha McGee and Catherine Harmon and three brothers, Walter Moore, Willie Moore and Gassaway Moore.
Surviving: his wife, Dorothy Moore of the home; one daughter, Cynthia Moore of Greenville; two sons, Anthony Moore and Robert Moore, both of Greenville; five grandchildren, Kobina, Reo Moore, Brandon Canady, Braxton Canady and Kadiyald Moore; one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
