Mr. Rogers Hunter, 79, of 201 Luther Drive, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at his home. Born in Laurens County, he was the son of the late Ora Bell Copeland.
Left to cherish his memories: wife; Sarah Hunter: daughters; Sharon (Edward) Robinson of Taylors, Veronica (Morris) Fuller, Master Sargent Taforayia Hallums, both of Greenville: step-daughter; Sandra Harmon of Greenville: sons; Patrick Hunter of Greenville, Shawn Hallums of Arden, NC, Luchino Hallums of Greenville: step-sons; Johnny Harmon and James (Leslie) Harmon, both of Greenville: sister; Sara Frances Copeland of Greenville: devoted companion; Johnnie Mae Harmon of Greenville: fifteen grandchildren: and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service: Saturday, September 6, 2014, 2:00 PM, at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
