Mr. Roosevelt “Pres” Harris, 79, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home in Newberry, South Carolina. He was born on March 25, 1937, in Greenville, and was the son of the late Willie Sullivan and Mamie Coker.
“Pres” was a retiree of Greenville Technical College. He was a member of the Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Horace Harris.
Left to cherish many fond memories are his brother, Henry Coker of Greenville, South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
