Rosa Harrison

On Sunday, May 7, 2017, Mrs. Rosa Lee Evans Harrison passed away peacefully at St. Francis Hospital Downtown with her family at her side. She is now with the Lord.

Mrs. Rosa was born on April 9, 1947, in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, to the late Robert and Mattie Harris Evans. In 1965, she was a graduate of Bryson High School. She met her husband, David E. Harrison, Sr., and to this union two children were born.

She worked at Magna Drive Automotive for many years before she retired in 2007. She attended Saint Matthew Baptist Church. She loved her roses and gardening.

Rosa was preceded in death by her father and mother.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are her “Love Dove” husband, David Earl Harrison, Sr., of the home; one daughter, Wanda S. “Lady Bug” Harrison of Mauldin; one son, David E. “June Bug” Harrison, Jr., of Simpsonville; two sisters, Virginia Ann Evans and Robertine Chappell, both of Greenville; and a host of other relatives and friends .
