Mrs. Roxie Bowen, 103, of 257 Cowan Court, formerly of Travelers Rest SC. passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at her home. Born in Laurens County. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Sanders and Bertha Lillian Putman Sanders.

Surviving: Daughter-in-law; Antoinette Stoddard of Washington DC. Stepdaughter; Frances Allman of Travelers Rest SC. Step-daughter-in-law; Willie Mae Bowen of Travelers Rest SC. Brother; Mack Sanders of Washington DC. Fourteen grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Twenty Three Nieces and Nephews. A host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Wednesday, February 18, 2015, 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM. At Center Rabun Baptist Church.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, February 18, 2015 11:30 AM. at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with Interment in the Church Cemetery.
