Mr. Roy Edward Brian “BW” Williams, 43, departed this life on Monday, April 11, 2016. Born in Greenville, he was the son of Roy Williams, Jr. and the late Julia Ashmore Williams.
“BW” attended Bakers Chapel Elementary and Tanglewood Middle Schools and was a graduate of Carolina High School. He was employed for over twenty-three years with Setters Tools, Inc. as a Shop Foreman.
He was a member of the Long Branch Baptist Church. An avid Clemson Tiger fan and a lover of his motorcycle, he was affiliated with the Freedom Fighters Motorcycle Club as the Head of Security.
“BW” was preceded in death by his mother, his grandmother, Louvenia Luster Williams and grandfather, Roy Williams, Sr.
Left to cherish many fond memories, in addition to his father: his loving wife, Ywanda C. Williams of the home; daughters, Alexandria Hurst Williams and Sommer Williams of the home; sons, Brian Hurst Williams of Greenville and Jake Sullivan of Simpsonville; sisters, Yvette Williams of Mauldin and Charlene McDowell of Greenville; four grandchildren, Payton Williams, Matthew Williams, Justin Sherman and Kennedy Williams; aunts, Amanda (Calvin) Cook of Simpsonville, Dorothy Ashmore and Jenny V. Jenkins, both of Greenville, Mary Alice Hunt and Mamie (James ) Louris, all of Pontiac, MI; uncles, Winfred Ashmore and O.D. (Birdie) Williams; nephew, Brandon Williams of Mauldin, SC and a host of other relatives and friends.
