Ms. Ruby M. Kirksey, 73, of 295 E Pearl St, Spartanburg, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 at White Oak Manor. Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of Mildred Kirksey Merck. She was preceded in death by her sons, June Anderson Kirksey “Sam” and Tommy Kirksey.
Surviving: sisters, Mary Frances Kirksey of Anderson, Lydian Cash of Charlotte, NC, Betty Merck of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Dawn (Larry) Eaddy and Brian (Michelle) Gilbert, all of Simpsonville, Aaron Kirksey of Seneca, and Tammy Kirksey of Athens, GA; eighteen great-grandchildren; caregiver, Josie Keefe of Simpsonville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Friday, April 24, 2015, 2:00 PM at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
