Rufus Ashmore

Mr. Rufus Edward Ashmore, 69, of 208 Hollywood Drive, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Malvin and Nellie Wright Ashmore. He was preceded in death by his son, Vincent Cornelius Green, sisters, Marjorie A. Allen and Julia Mae Williams, and brothers, Paul Ashmore, Malvin Ashmore, Jr., William Ashmore, John Willie Ashmore, Harrison Ashmore, and James Ashmore.

Left to cherish his memories: sister, Amanda (Calvin) Cook of Simpsonville; brother, Winfred Ashmore of Greenville; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service: Saturday, January 31, 2015, 3:00 PM at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with burial in Pleasant View Cemetery.
