Rufus Thompson, Sr.

Mr. Rufus Lee “Red” Thompson, Sr. 74, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed July 12, 2020 at his home. He was the son of the late David Thompson and Lula Mae Jones Thompson.
Surviving: one daughter, Robin Thompson of Greenville, SC; one son, Gerald (Kenisha) Thompson of Piedmont, SC; a sister, Dorothy Jo Thompson of Greenville, SC; two brothers, David (Thelma) Thompson of Greenville, SC and Carl Thompson of New Jersey; five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
