Mrs. Ruth E. Burgess, daughter of the late James L. and Lucille Hunt-Ross, was born on August 16, 1950, in Greenville County, South Carolina. On Sunday, February 25, 2018, she entered into eternal rest at her home.
She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Jesse Burgess, Jr. This union was blessed with two children, Mr. Willie and Miss. Julia Burgess.
At an early age, Ruth joined Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, where she ushered and sang in the choir for many years. She was a 1968 graduate of Sterling High School.
