Mrs. Ruth Evelyn Rice McKinney, 90, of Pickens, South Carolina, passed on January 15, 2022, at Manna Health & Rehabilitation in Pickens, South Carolina. Born in Asheville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Mylus Calvin and Evelyn Purry Rice and the widow of Bennie McKinney.
Surviving: four daughters, Vickie (James) Aiken of Easley, SC, Malinda (Rev James) Pitts of Pickens, SC, Michelle McKinney of Liberty, SC, and Stacy (Vincent) Earle of Greenville, SC; three sons, Benny (Lori) McKinney of Liberty, SC, Zion (Christine) McKinney of Herndon, VA, and Alfonso (Elizabeth) McKinney of Melbourne, FL; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment at Cold Springs Baptist Church.
