Mr. Sam W. Golden, Jr., 66, of Greenville, South Carolina, husband of Jolly Ann Dogan Goldsmith for 17 years, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Prisma Health. He was a son of the late Sam W. Golden, Sr., and Jessie Lee Moore Golden, and the stepson of Virginia Thomason Golden.
In addition to his wife and his stepmother, he is survived by one son, Christopher (Adria) Golden of Browns Summit, NC; two bonus sons, Larry (Rosalyn) Goldsmith, Jr., of Summerville, SC and Michael (Vanessa) Goldsmith of Greenville, SC; one bonus daughter, Joy Goldsmith of Greenville, SC; three sisters, Valarie (Karl) Golden Houston of Piedmont, SC, Antonia (Cecil) Golden Partlow of Greenville, SC, and Maxine (Bobby) Golden Oglesby of Mauldin, SC; one brother, Curtis (Brenda) Golden; one grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Service: Sunday, November 5, 2023, 4:00pm, at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment private.
