Sammy Gambrell

Mr. Sammy Gambrell, 58, of 115 Greenfield Dr., passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at his home. He was the son of the late Charlie Smith and Elvira Gambrell. He was predeceased by his brother, Henry Gambrell and sister, Annette Gambrell. He loved music and was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan.

Surviving: a loving wife; Katie Gambrell of the home: daughters; Avery Gambrell of Greenville and Jasmine Gambrell of the home: sisters; Johnnie Mae Harmon, Marjorie Jenkins, and Betty Lockhart, all of Greenville: a brother; Charles Gambrell of Baltimore, MD: a sister-in-law; Jocelyn Palmer of the home: a brother-in-law; John Palmer of Greenville: and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Saturday, April 12, 2014, 11:00-12:00 PM, at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary.

Funeral Service: Saturday, April 12, 2014, 12:00 PM at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
