Mr. Samuel David Chiles, Jr., 81, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at The Haven in the Village Chanticleer. Born on June 18, 1937, in Abbeville, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Samuel D. and Jannie L. Arnett Chiles.
He was a retired truck driver and served in the United States Army.
Surviving are two daughters, Marie Chiles and Lisa (Johnny) Thompson, both of Greenville; three sons, Stanley (Denise) Montgomery, David Chiles and Samuel Lewis, all of Greenville; two sisters, Lola Mae Ford of Gaffney, and Hattie C. (Theodore) English of Greenville; one brother, Charles (Barbara) Chiles of Greenville; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends .
