Mr. Donnell Samuel Stokely, 60, of Pelzer, departed this life on Friday, September 16, 2016, Greenville, at Greenville Health System. He was a son of the late James B. Stokley and Catherine S. Clark Stokley.
He was a former bus driver for a daycare center.
He is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn Pugh Stokley of the home; one daughter, Bianka Shields of Newark, NJ; four sons, Terrell (Loretta) Pugh of Greenville, Duquan Pugh of Pelzer, Khasin Pugh of Newark, NJ, and Terick Allen of Plainsfield, NJ; seven sisters, Alice Sewell, Katherine, Michelle, Patricia, Sandra, Towanna and Syreeta Stokley, all of Newark, NJ; five brothers, James and Arvon of Newark, NJ, Michael, Fletcher (Laurie) and Arbon (Melvena) Stokley, all of East Orange, NJ; seventeen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
