Mrs. Sarah “Sarah Sue” Pollard Hicks, of 241 Alameda Street, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at her home. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Rosa Lee Pollard.
Left to cherish her memories: husband; L. C. Hicks of the home: daughters; Velvet (Chad) Williams of Taylors and Ryna Hicks of Charlotte, NC: sons; Lewis Hicks of Columbia, SC, Alonzo Hicks of Mauldin, SC, and Danny Lee Hicks of the home: sisters; Mary Elizabeth Pollard and Michelle Pollard, both of Greenville: brother; Jimmy (Thelma) Pollard of Greenville: one aunt; Carolyn Pollard of Greenville: and eight grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, May 31, 2014, 7:00 – 8:00 PM, at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary.
Funeral Service: Sunday, June 1, 2014, 2:30 PM at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
