Sgt. John Wilkcon “Butch” Woods, Jr., 73, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Monday, October 17, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital – Downtown. He was the son of the late John Wilkcon, Sr., and Beulah Wright Woods.
He was married to Mrs. Dorothy Bowen Woods for 48 years.
In addition to his wife, surviving: one son, Marcus (Felicia) Woods of Louisville, KY; and one daughter, Sonya Woods of Conway, SC; a cousin/sister, Elsie Butler, of Greenville, SC; two grandchildren, Charles Wilkcon Woods, and Jasper Felix Woods; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Monday, October 24, 2022, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
