Ms. Sylvia Lorraine Golden, 57, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at her home. She was a daughter of Mildred E. Meekins-Golden and the late Willie Golden.
She was a member of Piedmont Manor Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Ethel Hawthorne.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are two sons, Tavares Golden (Vanessa) and Garfield Allen, both of Greenville; a special daughter, Tasha (Bernard) McMorris of Greenville; four sisters, Sharon (Richard) Martin of Simpsonville, Phyllis (Robert) Burton of Piedmont, Marilyn Golden and Elaine Golden, both of Greenville; two brothers, Rufus (Deborah) Golden of Greenville, and Lawrence Golden of Lyman; two grandchildren, Khadijah Scott and Kieara Robinson; one great-grandchild; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
