Mrs. Sylvia Ann Upshaw, 78, of Greenville, South Carolina, widow of the late James Leon Upshaw, Sr., passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023, at her residence. She was a daughter of the late William Allen Thompson, Sr., and Emma Lou Morris Thompson.
Surviving: one daughter, Lisa Smith; two brothers, Bill (Cathy) Thompson, Sr., of Port St. Lucia, FL and Furman Thompson of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Service: Saturday, November 4, 2023, 3:30pm, at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment private.
