Ms. Takesha Monisa Rice, 34, of Piedmont, South Carolina, passed on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Prisma Health, Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was a daughter of Anita Rice Chiles and Jerry Bernard Simpson.

Surviving: her mother, Anita Rice Chiles; her father, Jerry (Angie) Simpson; two daughters, Nai’Kyra Rice and Amir’acle Rice both of the home; maternal grandmother, Frances Rice of the home; paternal grandparents, Charles and Louise White of Greenville, SC; three sisters, Taquita (Arsenio) Patterson of Lyman, SC, Talandra (Kenneth) Rogers of Greenville, SC and Moriah Simpson of Fountain Inn, SC; three brothers, Daquez Chiles and Jerry B. Simpson, Jr., both of Greenville, SC and Jeremiah Simpson of Greer, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service: Sunday, September 24, 2023, 3:00pm, Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment private.
