Talisha Simmons

Ms. Talisha Lynnette “TT” Simmons, 36, of Easley, South Carolina, passed on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Greenville Health System. Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of Calvin Simmons and Emma Simpson.

She was a graduate of Woodmont High School and had taken some classes at Greenville Technical College. In 2016, she became a member of the New Foundation Missionary Baptist Church.

“TT” was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Florence Simmons; grandfather, James Simpson; uncle, James Larry Simpson; aunt, Inez Sullivan and a nephew, Jeremiah “Tuge” Simmons.

Surviving, in addition to her parents: a daughter, Takira N. Simmons of the home; sisters, Marquita (Courtney) McClellan of Piedmont and Nytia Simmons of Easley; brother, Damerial Simmons of Greenville; grandmother, Shirley Simpson of Easley; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
