Mrs. Teresa Diane “Resa” Williams Barnes, 55, of Easley, South Carolina, passed on April 16, 2019, at Hospice of the Upstate. She was a daughter of Lillie Mae Williams Holbrook and the late Lonnell Rhome, Sr.
She attended Roosevelt Senior High School in Roosevelt, New York. She was employed as a Certified Nurses Assistant at Fleetwood Rehabilitation and Health-care Center in Easley and attended Griffin Ebenezer Baptist Church.
“Resa” was a loving, devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, niece, cousin, aunt, co-worker and friend to anyone who she could help in any way. Her pleasant smile will always be remembered. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Williams, and a brother, Joe S. Collins.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are her husband, Melvin Barnes of the home; her parents, Lillie Mae and Roscoe Holbrook of Amityville, NY; one daughter, Tamika Latress Williams of Easley; two sons, Steven Lamar Williams and Andrew Allen Barnes, both of Easley; two sisters, Jacqueline (James) Westbrook of Palmdale, CA, and Lavonia (Lincoln) Baker of Greenville; three brothers, Burgess Arnold of Hyattsville, MD, Timothy A. (LaKeisha) Williams of Westbury, NY, and Lonnell Rhome, Jr., of Easley; four grand-children; and a host of other relatives and friends.
