Teruko Lavette Chandler White

Mrs. Teruko Lavette “Vet” Chandler White, 46, of Piedmont, South Carolina, departed this life on Friday, November 22, 2019, at North Greenville Hospital. She was a daughter of Charles A. Barton and Nancy Lee Chandler.

She was a 1992 graduate of Woodmont High School and was employed at Excalibur Youth Services (Venice). A member of Shady Oak Baptist Church, where she was a Youth Choir Advisor, and participated in the Mass Choir, she was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star where she served in the Queen of the South, Amaranth and Heroines of Jericho, Lady Knight Auxiliary, Princess of the Elect, Isis and Sphinx, and proudly served as the Grand Nurse .

She was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Ann Woody; a brother, Dedric Thomason; her paternal grandparents, Eugene and Carrie L. Barton, Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Curtis and Ruby Terry, Sr.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Quenton L. White of the home; two sisters, Jasenda Barton and Kamaria (Corey) Thomason Ware, both of Greenville; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, godchildren, whom she held close and dear to her heart; other relatives and friends.
