Thomas Harris

Mr. Thomas Elias “Samp/JR/ Pop” Harris, 86, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Friday, October 16, 2020, at Prisma Health Upstate. He was a son of the late Thomas and Gertrude Redmond Harris Goodwin.

Surviving: four daughters, Vandessa Harris Rosemond of Greenville, SC, Stacey C. (Vince) Adams of Simpsonville, SC, Marilyn K. (Darrell) Durham of Greenville, SC and Regina Harris McCray of Duluth, GA; five sons, William E. Harris of Greenville, SC, Thomas A. Harris of the home, Dexter S. Harris and Harold McDowell, both of Greenville, SC and Timothy D. Harris of Piedmont, SC; one sister, Janie Mae Rosemond of Piedmont, SC; and one brother, John L. Harris of Simpsonville, SC; his former wife, Mattie Jean Scott Harris of Greenville, SC; twenty grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services; Thursday, October 22, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary, with burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
