Mr. Thomas Heywood “Tomp” Woody, 73, of Greenville, South Carolina, husband of LaFawn Madden Woody, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024, at his residence. He was a son of the late Walter Houston Woody and Willie Mae Butler Woody Davis.

Surviving: in addition to his wife, two daughters, Pracilla (Alfonso) Leggette of Columbia, SC and Patra (Sergio) Burnside of Greenville, SC; two sons, Jamil (Jennifer) Woody of Simpsonville, SC and Cedric Scott of Detroit, MI; one bonus daughter, April (Nick) Nixson; three sisters, Dorothy Woody, Betty Dean, and Annette (Frank) Griggs, all of Greenville, SC; three brothers, Charles Woody, Glenn Woody, and Sammy Woody, all of Greenville, SC; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Monday, January 22, 2024, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
