Tommie Downs

Mr. Tommie Lee Downs, 83, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 211 S. Calhoun Street. He was the son of the late Matthew and Louella Austin Downs. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Downs, a son-in-law, Herbert Freeman, three sisters, and four brothers.

Surviving: daughters; Susie Ann Freeman and Melissa (Darren) Holland, both of Indianapolis, IN, Linda Kay Smiley of Georgia, and Mary Lee Riser of Spartanburg: sons; Kendrick (Gwyn) Downs, Tommy Lee Downs, Johnny Willie (Tracy) Downs, and Michael Anthony (Linda) Downs, all of Greenville: a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Burial will take place on Monday, April 7, 2014, 12:00 Noon, in MJ Dolly Veterans Cemetery.
